MP 2555/MP 3055 Multi-function Printer

The new multifunction Savin MP 2555/MP 3055/ MP 3555 printer series has been designed to simplify your day-to-day office tasks. Three devices exist in this particular series, and each has a different printing speed. The printing speeds currently stand at 25ppm, 30ppm and 35ppm for the MP 2555, MP 3055 and MP 3555 respectively.

All the devices mentioned above are base models that also include automatic reversing document feeders, standard scanning, copying, and printing functions as well as optional faxing. All three devices come with a 320GB hard drive, 2GB of memory, and a 1.46GHz processor accompanied by a 10.1-inch smart operation panel.

FEATURES:

1. Paper Handling

Each device starts with a capacity of 1,200 sheets and features two sheet trays that can hold 550 papers each. The trays also come with a 100 sheet bypass. It is important to note that each configuration comes with its own document feeder.

The automatic reversing feeder has a total capacity of 100 sheets. The devices have a standard output capacity of 500 sheets, although they all have varying finishing options.

2. Multifunctional Features

The printing features that have been included are the standard PCL, optional XPS printing languages, and optional Adobe PostScript. Networking is supported by all three devices.

Additional features include drop-out color send, image rotation, LDAP support, scan-to-pdf, and scan-to-email. The user can also scan documents and send them to different cloud storage accounts such as Box, Google Drive, and Dropbox.

Faxing consists of 4MB of memory and a 33.6kbps modem. The modem has a JBIG compression facility and the internal memory can further be expanded to a total of 64MB. Additional noteworthy features include paperless faxing, LAN faxing and internet faxing.

3. Security Features

Savin has provided various security features which include hard drive encryption, locked print password encryption, data encryption, data overwriting and user authentication.
